SWIM GIRL
INCORPORATED
Swim Girl, Inc. was founded in February of 2004. It was the
dream of its founder, Tiffany M. Bucciarelli-Fay to provide high
quality swim instruction to Tucson families with children under
the age of 12. One of the many goals of the company was to
reach as many children as possible without creating additional
time constraints, while providing the service for all income
level families.
Since its
beginning Swim Girl, Inc. has provided aquatic services to more
than 300 families at three area Preschools. Swim Girl, Inc.
started at Pusch Preschool and Kindergarten providing aquatic
services to 10 students. Seven of the initial children are
still enrolled in the program. At present day, we have grown to
an enrollment of over 100 students at this location alone. In
addition to Pusch Ridge Preschool and Kindergarten, We will be
providing aquatic services to four other childcare facilities in
Tucson. Several other childcare facilities have requested
information in respect to the services we provide.
In a continuing
effort to address and improve on the initial foundation of the
company, Swim Girl, Inc. has partnered with Island of Escape,
Baja Spas, and Premier Pools offering free swim lessons to all
customers that purchase pool and spa products. In conjunction
with Island of Escape, Swim Girl, Inc. has designed a pool that
allows for the instruction of swim lessons and staff training.
This entity allows Swim Girl, Inc. to provide an alternative
means for families to obtain swim lessons, but do not have a
pool accessible to them either in their neighborhood or at their
residence.
A community
classroom, at Island of Escape, has also been created in
partnership with the Southern Arizona Red Cross to provide
infant, child and adult CPR classes as well as First Aid and
babysitters training to the Tucson community. Swim Girl, Inc.
has volunteered their time to instruct these noted classes.
Swim Girl, Inc.
has been and is still currently actively involved in community
fund raising programs through the preschools we currently serve
and Southern Arizona Red Cross. In 2004, we spearheaded the
silent auction for the Pusch Ridge Preschool and Kindergarten
Harvest Festival, which raised over $15,000.00 for Make-A-Wish
Foundation Tucson Chapter allowing them to grant 2 children’s
wishes.
Based on
current enrollment (April of 2005) Swim Girl, Inc. is projection
that they will provide services to more than 600 families.

parents or guardians the opportunity to eliminate additional
scheduling and transportation for swim lessons all in a
controlled and safe learning environment. Each student and
student’s parents and or guardians are regularly provided with
progress reports and assessments.

minimizes health care costs and medical complications.

Additional Income:
A homeowners association which offers on-site swim lessons in
addition to other activities is more competitive in the housing
market. Swim Girl Inc. provides an additional income source to
the association.
Pool Maintenance & Lower Expenses:
The homeowners associations partner’s pool will be maintained
and serviced by Swim Girl Inc. Swim Girl Inc. is licensed pool
operator in Pima County, Arizona. Swim Girl Inc. will maintain
your pool to Pima County Standards by testing pool chemicals,
skimming, vacuuming, scrubbing pool tiles, and maintaining your
pool deck.
Promotional Benefits:
A homeowners association is included and highlighted
in the promotion and advertising paid for by Swim Girl Inc.
Swim Girl Inc. advertises by means of direct mail, phonebook,
brochures, word of mouth, web site and local events.
Exclusivity:
Swim Girl Inc.
will only allow Continental Ranch homeowners and their families
to participate in the aquatic services.
Swim Girl Inc. Professionalism
Certified Instructors & Lifeguards:
All staff members of Swim Girl Inc. are sixteen years or
older, finger printed, medically screened, and are certified
through the National Red Cross in CPR for the Professional
Rescuer, First Aid, Lifeguarding and Swim Instruction. All
instructors meet State of Arizona Preschool Licensing.
Additional Training:
All certified Swim Girl Inc. staff members receive a two week
mentoring program from the owner and/or Swim Girl Inc. senior
instructor. Every staff member receives an observation and
evaluation every four week session.
Liability Insurance:
Swim Girl Inc. maintains a one million dollar ($1,000,000.00)
liability insurance policy for each location.
Swim Girl Inc. Registration, Enrollment, & Evaluation
Swim Girl Inc. provides and controls all student registration
and scheduling. Sign up sheets, brochures, and presentations
are utilized to encourage participation. Each potential student
is evaluated by age, physical size, strength, abilities, and
desire. Following a through evaluation each student is placed
in one of eleven class levels that will encourage their
efforts. See insert of Class level list and description for
more information. Every participant receives an underwater
photo and certificate of completion for every four week session.

Tiffany Bucciarelli-Fay was accepted into the Instructor
Trainer Program of the Red Cross, was awarded the 2001 Swim
Instructor of the Year by the National Swim School Association,
has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Family Studies, and over a
decade of swim instruction experience.
